This work was made within the Masters of Design program at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Inspired by the maker movement response to Covid-19, this project explores design as an idea rather than a product. So, the plans are shared for those interested in making their own. Ideas are resourceful, move faster than production, and leave room for customization.

Italian designer Enzo Mari passed away in October of 2020. His book, Autoprogettazione (“Self Design”) contained furniture plans for people to make. He hoped this would lead to better object understanding and sincerity. This project is inspired by Enzo Mari.
